About

Each one-of-a-kind piece begins with thin sheets of hand-cut glass which are layered and pieced together to create a unique design. Sometimes glass powders, frit (crushed glass), stringers, metals, and silver leaf are used to create unique effects. Next, each piece goes through a special process of several firings to form, shape, anneal, and fire polish the glass. Sterling silver is used to finish each piece of jewelry.

My kiln-formed glass creations are contemporary in style and include jewelry and functional serving pieces. My passion for working with glass first developed as a young child visiting the Toledo Art Museum ’s prized glass collection. Now my work expresses the best of my graphic design skills and my love of glass.
